The near-future game features the Ghost Recon team venturing to far off locales such as Norway and the Middle East, to combat a force that have occupied Russia.
Originally expected to launch at the end of 2010, Ghost Recon: Future Solider has since been delayed multiple times. Ubisoft last pegged the game's release between January 1 to March 31, 2011. Despite the hold on the game's release, Ubisoft told Shacknews in June that the game's Xbox 360-exclusive beta--which was announced in 2010 alongside Splinter Cell: Conviction's release--is still in the works.
Ghost Recon: Future Solider is planned for release on the PC, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PSP, and Nintendo DS.

I played this game at PAX Prime 2011 and it definitely looks great now. It was a blast to play. The only game that I thought was better was Battlefield 3 on the PC. Also, the ghost recon developer told me that the beta was going to be released in January 2012. I sure hope it hits. Can't wait to play that game. The other game that was amazing was Ghost Recon Online. That is supposed to be coming sometime this year. That is definitely how an online shooter should be.
